Committment
I, Florence Birungi Kyazze hereby commit myself to upload my course resources for CRS 8108 as e-content. The draft materials are ready for uploading and by the end of Friday, 90% of the course material will be e-content. I do not think that currently I have any challenges to stop me from making my e-content module ready.

CRS 8108: Social Research Methods
A Brief to the Students
Social Research Methods is one of the very many courses that are offered for the MSc in Plant Breeding and Seed Systems, in the Faculty of Agriculture Makerere University. This is a new course for most of you because you have been involved in more experimental and laboratory research for your plant breeding programs. I have taught this course for several years and I am sure this subject will help you in your plant breeding programs to develop appropriate and relevant agricultural technologies for small scale farmers who are usually the end-users of your planting breeding programs. Most of you will find the course a little challenging given your technical research background but I want to assure you that I shall work with you to make this course relevant to your planting breeding programs.
Delivery Methodology
The course will be delivered in a participatory manner where the students will play the bigger role. The role of the instructor is to facilite the process and guide you throughout this course. You should note that you will do a lot of reading on your own. Some reading resources will be provided to you by the instructor but you will also have to search for more reading information and share this with the class.
